I don't need to be clean
"I want to put on my Snow White dress, Mommy."
"You need to take a bath first. You are filthy!"
"I not fillty. I clean!"
"You are not clean! You have dirt all over you. You need a bath."
"No bath. I not dirty"
"Yeah, you are dirty."
"No!"
"Yes!"
"NO!"
"Yes!" (Now, I know she is three, so why I sat there driving doing the whole "Yes/No" thing with her I have no clue! But it was pretty funny!)
"I am clean."
"Nope - not clean."
"No, not no! YES! I don't need to be clean. I be dirty!"
Well.....at least she finally agreed that she is dirty :-)
This picture really doesn't do her face justice. It was covered in dirt! How she does this to herself most days is beyond me.
Her feet. How on earth does she get them so filthy every day. This actually isn't that bad today. Yesterday, it looked like she had stepped on a pile of those berries.

LOVE IT--she looks just like our kids at the end of the day (or beginning sometimes). I love the part about berries too--I used to smash them and concoct nail polish and tried to sell it =). Maybe I should attempt a job with OPI?
Oh yeah, I imagine your tub looks great too--ours always has some kind of greasy dirt ring. Thanks goodness for Clorox!
OH, my, but she is still just so cute. Love that washrag. Says she is enjoying being a kid.
What a funny story. I love the smashed berries and the picture of the dirty, I agree with Tiffany, that I can only imagine what your tub looked like after the bath.
Oh yeah, my daily battle. Between food and snot and dirt and scratches and you only wonder what else...love it!!
I've been there too. But just imagine how much fun she had while getting dirty.
Oh, do those dirty little feet look familiar!! I can always sigh and know my kids had a good day when they look like that. :)
How sweet!
