Still Here.....I think!

Remember that Mac truck I mention last week? Well, I think it turned around and hit me again, then it went in reverse! Emma was sick and not feeling well, I was not feeling well and neither of us was sleeping well. Saturday we were up and 4:00 a.m. and I knew that I didn't feel right. After Steven got up, I went back to bed and tried to sleep, but he kept insisting that I would feel so much better if I just got up and took a hot shower. Well, I did want to feel better, so I took the hot shower, got dressed and out we went for the day. By the time we got home that night, I was positive that I wasn't just not feeling good, but was sick. Monday I even took myself off to the doctor (I never go to the doctor!). I was right!!!! I was sick. Still am sick. It isn't the flu but a viral flu. So he sent me home to bed with some good drugs and that is pretty much where I have been. I have had a fever for days now and am sick and tired of being sick and tired! Emma is feeling much better thank goodness! Unfortunately, Steven has been gone most of the week, so I have been a single mommy. Not fun while you are sick. Luckily she loves her movies, so she has watched them a lot in the evenings. And she is really into writing and drawing right now - so we write and draw a lot too. Thank the Lord the goes to school (daycare) during the day! I am at work today - but I am pretty sure that nobody wants me here. I certainly wouldn't want me here if I was them.

Anyway, I am alive, but barely :-)
