Here and there

I finally am getting to post some pictures. I was ready to take my laptop to Starbucks to do this, but I figured it out :-)

This is my new do. Some of you have already seen it by now, but this was taken just a couple of hours after I had it done. My hair has never been this straight or flat and it hasn't since either. And after looking at this picture along with some other of me.... I don't think I like my glasses. I loved them when I got them, but the more I see them - not so much.

I was very fortunate to be able to go scrapbooking last Friday night. My sister-in-law kept Emma for the night. THANK YOU PATRICIA!!!
This is Lisa - the birthday girl - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I ended up scrapbooking until after 3:00a.m. at which point almost lost the ability to speak much less think so I stayed the night (what was left of it). It was great to just have an evening to myself with out having to worry about Emma or Steven :-) Only a few of us stayed all night, but a couple stayed until about 6:00 a.m. and then packed up and went home. I think I may do this for my birthday too.

Of course - I really paid for it the next day! I was exhausted!

There have been a couple of mornings this week that Emma has wanted me to take her picture. Of course when I actually start to take it - she turns away or moves over to the side or frowns at me. I finally figured out that if I start making silly sounds she may actually look at me and laugh. Good thing no body else was around to hear me!

Emma loves her raincoat - but she loves the hat that goes with the raincoat even more. The coat has a hood - but she still has to have her hat!

Emma picked out her outfit - she really wanted to wear her Tinkerbell tshirt, but it was in the laundry, so she picked up her new Valentines tshirt instead. And she HAD to wear her "dragon" pants along with her "dragon" shoes and we couldn't forget her "dragon" belt. Now, I am sure you are wondering what on earth I mean by "dragon". For some reason, anything that has a leopard print on it, she will refer to it as "dragon". Anyway, she is very proud of all her "dragon stuff and loves to show it off. BTW - this is Emma with her new hair cut. Yes, I know it looks exactly the same - but it is about 1 1/2 inches shorter in the back :-)

Love the rain hat! I'm SUPER impressed that you all scrapbooked all night long. WOW! Was coffee going the whole time? I don't think I could make it to midnight.

So glad you got to come to the scrapbook sleepover. It was a blast, but then hey...look at all the fun girls who were there, how could it have been anything less than a blast? I definitely think you should do one for your birthday!

Love Emmaline's raincoat and hat. And I think I'm on my way to Old Navy tonight to get my girls a tee shirt!

I'm glad you were able to get out of the house and go to the scrapbooking party. It sounds like you had alot of fun and it's a great idea for a birthday party.

Emma is so cute! She's right though...I love the "dragon" look on her. ;)
