It isn't slowing down!!
I always look forward to the slower pace of January after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. But if anything we are just as busy if not busier this month than we were last month. As of right now - we have no weekends that don't have something going on (including this past weekend). It is crazy!!! I talked to a couple of people here at work and they mentioned the same thing. I sincerely hope this is not a sign of things to come for the rest of 2009. If I had only realized, I might not have played hooky last week. Yeah, right!!
On a funnier note....yesterday when one of the guys went to the Post Office to get the mail he came back with a big grin on his face. He had an extra piece of mail that really wasn't ours, but it was so odd, he had to bring it in to show it to us.

It's not the best picture because it was taken with a cell phone, so in case you can't read who the envelope is addressed to....it says....Senator Hilary Clinton!! It was mailed from Utica, NY and supposed to go to Nyack, NY. But somehow ended up in Bowling Green, KY in a P.O. Box for a children's home. HA!! What made it even funnier was the stamp that was used was an Alzheimer's stamp. Apparently, whoever sorted the mail at some point 'forgot' that NY was New York and thought KY looked like a good match :-)

That's hilarious! And very odd considering they usually sort by ZIP Code first! :-) I'm with you, I hope January slows down soon! Happy Wednesday!
That's funny!!! I hope that things will soon slow down for you!
You mean Kentucky isn't New York!! haaa.
Too funny about the letter!
Hopefully you're able to stay sane through all the craziness and things slow down a little for you soon!
If you notice there is no bar code printed on the front. Which means it probably got stuck behind another letter, it happens sometimes. That is pretty funny for whom it was addressed.
And yes this year has started out way to busy. But atleast I finally got to see you the other day. We'll have to do it again soon.
The Alzheimer's stamp just tops it off, doesn't it?
That is hilarious.
