Can I please catch a break...please???

Emma's allergies are winning.  It is starting to completely wear me out.  Actually, I don't think they are winning (present tense)...I think they have already won!

I have tried to be diligent in giving her allergy meds to her every single day.  I have actually done pretty good with this.  But once spring finally sprung around here - it was bad!!!  Her nose has run non-stop for weeks now....starting last Tuesday, her eyes started running and oozing and by last Wednesday, she was running a low grade fever.  What does the doctor say....."It's just her allergies."  Well, duh, I knew that!  But can't we give her anything more?  Nope!  Well, the fever is finally gone, but the nose is still running and now she complains that her tummy hurts.  This only makes sense when you have had snot draining into it for two or three weeks now.  And since she doesn't feel the greatest, I have not been able to get anything accomplished.  She wants Mommy in her sight at all times.  And while I am an awesome procrastinator and would love NOT to do laundry, housework, yardwork and so on.........it is spring time and I so want to get everything aired out and clean and get outside to plant the flowers I actually have bought!

OK.........that is enough complaining..........but thanks for letting me vent!  Saturday is National Scrapbook Day and I am supposed to get to go "play" all day.  But since nothing has gone the way it was supposed to this week, I have not been able to get my stuff together.  And Steven's brother is planning on coming to town to visit this weekend so I think I would feel a bit guilty if he was here and I was off someplace else, ya know!?!

Hope everyone else is having a great week!!!

It's rough taking care of a sick little girl for days at a time. esp. when all you want to do is clean! i know it would be hard to take sat. for yourself since steven's bro. is coming to town but that sounds like just what you need. & it might recharge your batteries. so don't think of it as selfish, think of it as therapeutic (that's nurse talk! :) ) LOL!

Allergies just stink. I feel like I need stock in Kleenex and Benadryl. I know what you mean about wanting to do the whole spring time transformation. It's only natural to get out of the house after being couped up all winter. Hope things get better soon!!!

Bless her heart. Allergies can really be a pain in the neck here in Kentucky!! Maybe we should just all move to Florida?!?!?! I think that would help us all out.
Hope you get to catch up on your stuff... but remember it will wait for you. Hang in there!!

Sorry Emmaline's allergies are so bad right now. Jenna Claire's are terrible too. I guess it's just that time of year. I'm glad you got to go scrapbooking...though I am jealous that I didn't have childcare so I could go myself. I really wanted to get Natalie Kate's birthday book caught up before this next birthday. Oh well, there's always next year, right??? Hope you week goes better. It was great seeing you all today.

Oh, no! Florida is SO not any better on allergies! Think mold and mildew from all the humidity, and oh sweet Lord all the pollen. Maybe Arizona....
