My beautiful Emmaline Scissorhands
I have gotten over the initial shock of it all and she does look really cute with her little bob. But I know that underneath that top layer of hair is a bunch of short choppy hair that is only a little over an inch long. :-( It still makes me sad that her long hair is gone, but I know that it will grow back.
We discovered Saturday afternoon that wide headbands work great at not only keeping the hair back to help cover the short parts in the back but also at covering up the lack of hair on the sides.......so I am going to be doing some shopping for headbands. We found this cute black and white one at the $1 hot spot at Target.
She told me Saturday night that after her bath she wanted it to be long again and I could put it up in ponytails and she would even let me braid it. She woke up yesterday morning and started crying once she realized she had short hair. She just doesn't understand that even though she cut it, we can't just put it back and she will have her long hair again.
So if you should happen to see my daughter, please tell her how much you like her new haircut, and then ask her who is supposed to cut her hair...............she will now say "Miss Kendra!"

She is too cute with that short hair...sans the way it got that way. Wow, I don't know what I would do if I walked in on Josey doing that...but you got it right that it will grow back. It has just taken her so long to grow it!!
Beatiful girl!!
She is a big girl now!
Lesson learned for little miss Emma, maybe!? :) It does look super cute!!!!!!!
Yep. It looks very cute! But how traumatic!! I think this is definitely a lesson learned the hard way!
It will grow back! But I think she looks adorable with short hair.
Even though unfortunate circumstances led you hear Miss Emmaline, I do love this cut! There are some wide pink headbands on the endcaps of the $ section at Target! Easter Pink!
Aahhhh! I can't believe it. I remember you posting something about it on FB, and kept meaning to pop in here and look, and now I'm catching up... I can't believe it! You must've felt sick! But you know what? I LOVE IT. She looks soooo cute. It actually makes me want to go chop off my girls' hair right now. It's looking straggly, and your Emma's hair looks so fresh and healthy. What a story!
