S'mores

   I wish!!!!

While I was fixing dinner tonight, I noticed that our neighbor was outside burning all of the branches from that big tree that fell a few weeks ago.  Talk about a BIG fire!!!  DSC_0789 All through dinner, Steven kept talking about going out and roasting some marshmallows.   So as soon as he was done helping me get everything cleaned up, he took Miss Emma back to her room to put some warmer clothes on her and grabbed the bag of marshmallows and off they went!  DSC_0807 I immediately started searching for a Hershey's bar.............do you think I could find one??  Nope!  And the idea of marshmallows on the graham cracker alone just didn't appeal to me.  So I settled for taking my camera out there to snap some pictures instead.  DSC_0793 Emma was a little unsure at first and she never would eat a marshmallow, but she was obsessed with finding a stick and putting a marshmallow on it.

DSC_0808DSC_0797 Mack tried his best to get Emma to take a marshmallow, but she was having nothing to do with that part of this little outing.DSC_0810 DSC_0814DSC_0816 Emma finally started getting up close to roast her own marshmallow (that she wouldn't eat), but she absolutely did not like the heat on her face, so she kept putting her hand up over her face.  Let's just say, her cheeks were pretty rosy by the time we went back inside.

How cute! I'm sure she had a good time even though she wouldn't eat one!

So funny you'd mention smores. I was craving some the other day and I looked through my cupboard only to find chocolate chips, teddy grahams and mini marshmallows. I wasn't THAT desperate. ;)

Sounds like Emma was in the mood for a smore too =). I'm TOTALLY with you on the chocolate. I don't think I could do a marshmallow and graham cracker alone. Did you have any Easter M&M's??? Wonder if that would work???

I can't believe you couldn't find any chocolate at all!!! No Hershey's kisses??? Nothing??? Now you'll have to build another fire so Miss Emma can have her smore! Cute pictures.

So fun! I don't blame Emma though...marshmallows are weird. I bet she would have gone for a S'more though...you'd better have some Hershey's on hand for next time.
