S'mores

   I wish!!!!

While I was fixing dinner tonight, I noticed that our neighbor was outside burning all of the branches from that big tree that fell a few weeks ago.  Talk about a BIG fire!!!  All through dinner, Steven kept talking about going out and roasting some marshmallows.   So as soon as he was done helping me get everything cleaned up, he took Miss Emma back to her room to put some warmer clothes on her and grabbed the bag of marshmallows and off they went!  I immediately started searching for a Hershey's bar.............do you think I could find one??  Nope!  And the idea of marshmallows on the graham cracker alone just didn't appeal to me.  So I settled for taking my camera out there to snap some pictures instead.  Emma was a little unsure at first and she never would eat a marshmallow, but she was obsessed with finding a stick and putting a marshmallow on it.  

Mack tried his best to get Emma to take a marshmallow, but she was having nothing to do with that part of this little outing. Emma finally started getting up close to roast her own marshmallow (that she wouldn't eat), but she absolutely did not like the heat on her face, so she kept putting her hand up over her face.  Let's just say, her cheeks were pretty rosy by the time we went back inside.
