Got Nothin'
I really have nothing to post about but thought I would post anyway. Not much has really been going on in our little part of the world. Work has been incredibly busy for me (and it doesn't appear to be slowing down any time soon). Spring has finally come and I think it is actually going to stick around this time. The trees are all in bloom, the redbud's are beautiful! Of course, as a result of spring and the blooming, Emma's allergies have been really bad. Her poor little eyes are all puffy and she isn't sleeping well at all (therefore, I am not sleeping well). Steven was finally able to get out and work in the yard yesterday afternoon. We had some guys lined up last fall to come and take care of our leaves, but they NEVER showed up. So needless to say after the leaves had been sitting there all winter, about half of our front yard no longer has grass. So we will be getting some grass seed and trying to grow grass in the shade ;-) I am also desperate to start planting flowers. I want flowers in with the shrubs, flowers in the cement planters and some hanging basket on the front porch and all around the back deck. Of course, first I have to find the time to go pick out the flowers, buy the flowers and then actually plant the flowers............and it is supposed to rain this week-end.
Speaking of raining this week-end.....Emma is supposed to have her pictures done Saturday morning..............outside............in a sleeveless dress! I seriously doubt it is going to happen! Oh, she will have her pictures taken, but they most likely will have to be done indoors. I purposely wait until Spring to get her pictures done each year, instead of doing them around her birthday, just so we can do them outside. Oh well............that is just way it goes when you try so hard to plan something :-)
Other than getting her pictures done and trying to get laundry caught up, we have nothing planned for the week-end. See - I told you - I got nothin'!!!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week-end!!!

I love spring too...the freshness of it all. We usually do one big trip to the flower store on Mother's day...and I always buy too much. But it is so fun.
Hope the weekend clears up a bit to get some pictures outside...
Yard work, shmard work. It's never ending this season. Our neighbor across the street (a bachelor) runs a lawncare business. I think he has mowed everyday this week. His yard makes our lawn look awful! I do love the spring though and cannot wait to do some flower gardening.
Great to see you today at Sam's. Emma is so stinkin' cute! I can't wait to see her pics. ... I just know that they will be adorable.
Glad you all got some yard work done...I vote you make Steven plant your flowers! :-) That's what Barry and the girls do for me every year for Mother's Day. I pick 'em out...they plant 'em! Hope Emmaline's pics go well.
