We arrived...

Well after 12 hours and 15 minutes and 624 (but who's counting) miles we arrived at my parents house in Richmond. It was an excruciatingly long day and Miss Emma had pretty much had her fill of after about 10 hours (but hey, I am impressed that she lasted that long). We even arrived in time for dinner...YUM!!!! We were able to attend church this morning with my parents and then we went to lunch at The Cheesecake Factory...YUM!!! Now we are just trying to recoup from our long day of driving. I finished the last of Emma's antibiotic today. I would love to say that she is better.....but I can't.....because she isn't!!!! The mornings seem to be the worst now, so maybe she is improving.
I was going to post some pictures, but my computer would not behave today, so I will have to try it again another time. Hope everyone is having a good week-end!!!

Those long drives can be taxing! Glad you made it to your destination safely. I, too, ate at the Cheesecake Factory in Louisville this weekend. LOVE THAT PLACE!!!! Maybe some Virginia air will help sweet Emma.

The joy of traveling, oh the memories I have of traveling back and forth from KY to Fl when the kids was little. Trying to time it just right so that they would sleep at least a good portion of the trip. I glad that you made the trip safely. Have a great time and I hope that Emma is better soon. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Oh my...you're a bigger woman than me! I can't believe you made it for 12+ hours in the car. I don't think I would have survived! ;)

I hope you have a great time with family and that Emma's feeling better soon!
