Here fishy fishy fishy
For a week I had been listening to Emmaline talk about nothing but going fishing. She was suddenly obsessed with it. We were going to take her to her Uncle Micheal's pond, but there was a problem with it and she would not be talked out of it. So we decided to take her to Three Springs Park.
After having a yummy picnic first, Steven brought out all the fishing gear. First she had to examine the container with the worms. It facinated her. But if you know her at all, you know that she loves worms!
Once her daddy had everything all ready, they headed off to go find the perfect spot.
I refused to bait the hook.....so that was daddy's job.
He very patiently showed her what to do and helped her. She caught on pretty quick.
And then she started to get bored...
Finally she decided it was more fun to chase the ducks than wait and try to catch a fish.
Overall, I would say that she had a great time. We will take her again, but I still won't put a worm on her hook :-)

Too cute! Allison and Garrett have been fishing recently (twice) for their very first times and if they are biting and catching quickly they're into a bit more than if not; however their attn. span isn't very long either. Great pics. The pond at the back of the KOA is filled with small bluegill, and we caught one after another... she might like that... Girl... YOU need to learn to bait a hook !! :)
Girl, I have never baited a hook myself. That is one thing I don't think I'll ever do--yucko. Emmaline is getting so tall isn't she? Love her cute hot pink head band.
What a great day...it doesn take a lot of patience...good to teach her that about life early!!!
She is such a cutie!!
