Happy Birthday Grandma & Ethan

My MIL and my nephew share a birthday.  I always thought it was special that her first grandchild arrived on her birthday.  What a special gift!

On Sunday after church the entire family went out to eat to celebrate her birthday.  She had all 4 of her children there along with the spouses, 3 of her grandchildren and her great-granddaughter.

Uncle Michael was entertaining the girls while we were waiting for our food.

Michael took the girls to the other end of the table to sing to Grandma.

On Monday, we went out to celebrate Ethan's birthday.  It is hard to believe that he is 4 already.

Happy Birthday Ethan!!

I think Ethan is giving Emma some pointers on how to drive the tractor.

This last picture, I just put in because I thought the sunset was so pretty.  I took it right before I took a bunch of pictures of Ethan and Emma.

It has been another crazy week in my little corner of the world.  I am just thankful that I have survived it :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi There - thanks so much for taking the time to read my blog. That means a lot to me and I hope you can find it of some use. I know that it has been a tremendous therapy for me. I often say it is the single best thing I've done for myself since this whole thing started. I've met so many wonderful, supportive people on here who know exactly how I'm feeling. I find it to be a very open, honest, supportive community.

I am sorry to hear about your secondary infertility. From my perspective, it is a heartbreaking reality and as I'm sure you've read, we've decided to pursue the big guns as we can't figure out what's going on and we feel lead to take this next step by God despite how scary it is for us both.

I would love to hear more from you and and I take your story to be one of hope for us. Best to you - thinking and praying for you. Thanks so much for the prayers for us.

What a sweet picture of Ethan and Emma. I can not believe how fast they are growing up. I love your sunset picture and I hope you have a great weekend too.

You have such an eye for great photos. I love the way you capture the sky. We've certainly seen some wonderful colors the past few evenings.
